Are you a driven sales professional looking to join a growing tech platform? We are seeking a high-energy, independent Sales Representative to lead our expansion across Alberta and beyond. POSITION OUTLINE:
- Role: As our Sales Representative, you will be the face of our platform. Your mission is to identify growth opportunities and build a robust customer base through a consultative sales approach.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and engage new B2B customers, conducting needs-based assessments to sell GPS devices, data plans, and specialized accessories.
- Relationship Management: Foster long-lasting partnerships with clients, ensuring they maximize the value of our platform.
- Account Growth: Follow up with existing customers to identify evolving needs, troubleshoot issues, and provide up-sell opportunities.
- Strategic Territory Coverage: Work remotely while focusing on the Alberta market (primarily Edmonton and the surrounding areas), with the long-term goal of nationwide expansion across Canada.
- The Path to Growth: This role begins as a commission-based independent contractor position. We are looking for the right person to join our core team; upon hitting performance thresholds (typically within 3 months), this role transitions into a Full-Time Employee position including a base salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Location: Must be physically based in Edmonton, AB, or the immediate surrounding area.
- Mobility: Ability to travel within the Edmonton region for in-person client meetings and presentations.
- Equipment: Must have a reliable vehicle and a professional home-office setup.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven Track Record: At least 2 years of successful experience in B2B sales.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions in simple terms.
- Self-Management: Highly disciplined, on-time, and capable of working independently without daily supervision.
- Interpersonal Impact: Strong listening, presentation, and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience in Telematics or GPS Tracking industries.
- Background in the Automotive, Logistics, or Equipment Rental sectors.
- Experience with Cold Calling and lead generation.
